2007
has been a vintage year for Team Simoco, with our products and
services finding favour not only in our established markets such
as the UK, Europe and the Middle East, but also in exciting new
territories such as Asia and Latin America.
Our
TETRA G partnership with ETELM continues to broaden and deepen.
Whilst UK frequency restrictions continue to suppress demand,
our expansion in international markets is driving increasing TETRA
sales activity. China continues to lead the way with first sales
received from our both main dealers, RCOMM and Kirisun.
Xfin
is rapidly becoming the byword for TRUNKED radio. In the UK market,
Team Simoco this year successfully secured a deal with energy
giant Western Power for the UK’s largest radio system contract
- one of the largest utility contracts in the world, which will
provide coverage over some 26,000 square km.
Securing
a contract of this magnitude has firmly established Xfin as the
gold standard in professional radio. Add this to recent deals
inked in key territories including Latin America, China, and major
international projects such as the deployment of an Xfin radio
system for the Kazakhstan-China Pipeline, and it’s clear
that we have a winning technology in the shape of the Xfin.

With a revolutionised product portfolio and a clear commitment
to further enhancing customer service as a core element of our
dealer package, we have the potential to move into 2008 with all
guns blazing.
We’ve
put our energies into fine-tuning our partner program, in order
to deliver a winning combination of product and services for our
global network of dealers, distributors and systems integrators.
We’re committed to helping our partner network to increase
market share and ultimately turnover.
And
whilst we will continue to support and develop new and innovative
applications for the Xfin and analogue market, it’s essential
that we look to new industry sectors and markets in order to continue
to grow. With our Digital TETRA, P25 and terminal devices, we
clearly have huge potential for more sales, and increased market
share…and this is precisely what we are gunning for.
