Team Simoco is celebrating doing the double, after winning the Federation of Communications Services (FCS) 2007 Gerald David OBE Award for innovation in business radio for the second time in three years.

Team Simoco picked up the award for an unprecedented second time for its Xfin Multisite IP system just two weeks after announcing pre-launch sales in excess of 600 channels.

The Award, which seeks to recognise and reward excellence and innovation for service and product delivery in the business radio industry, was presented to Team Simoco at the FCS annual general meeting, which was held in London on 12 September.

By integrating the base station, trunk controller and IP switch into a single unit, the Multisite delivers significant cost benefits, reducing capital and operational costs whilst offering totally scalable and resilient system architecture.

Launched at Team Simoco’s UK headquarters, the Xfin Multisite IP has been well received by partners and customers, with strong pre-order sales throughout Team Simoco’s UK and international territories.
