Team Simoco’s product focus throughout 2008 and into 2009 has been directed squarely at customer and partner need. We’ve extended the functionality and range of both Xfin and TETRA-G, whilst introducing a number of exciting application products including dispatcher and voice recorder. We’ve also introduced an upgraded Xfin portable and taken fundamental steps to address the value end of the base station market.

Xfin & TSF 50 New Power Options

Xfin & TSF 50W products provide mid range options filling the portfolio gap between current 25 Watt and 100 Watt TSF base stations and Xfin trunked systems. These new products will enable partners and customers to benefit from lower pricing when power options between 25 and 50 Watt are required. With a relatively high percentage of systems requiring over 25 Watts it is believed that the greater majority of larger systems bids will benefit from the cost advantages of the 50 Watt product variants.

Xfin Portable

The Xfin Portable offers a core trunked feature set in a compact form factor and addresses the broadest base of operational needs from emergency services to commercial users. Now available with CTCSS and 100 character messaging and in three bands: 136-174MHz, 350-400MHz and 400-470MHz, Xfin portable comes complete with Li Poly battery & antenna.

Xfin Voice Recorder

The Xfin voice recorder is a powerful software application that enables recording and playback of all Xfin calls from a standard specification PC. Xfin voice recorder has been specifically designed to work with the Xfin system enabling calls to be retrieved simply by applying criteria such as time of call, channel, originating or receiving party. Each voice recorder server supports up to 32 channels and IP flexibility enables the addition of any number of servers anywhere in your network, making Xfin voice recorder the most flexible and cost effective package available.

XFIN Dispatcher

Xfin IP Soft Dispatcher extends Xfin flexibility to the control room in a simple to use and cost effective PC package. The software controlled package creates a feature rich intuitive user interface that aids effective and rapid call handling with features such as dynamic group calling. Call stack information is presented on the main screen offering visual indication of all incoming calls whilst IP connectivity and distributed database technology means Dispatchers can be located anywhere on the LAN enabling cost effective remote working and disaster recovery solutions.
